Monika Rose, Founder, Chief Creative

For the past 20 years Monika has led strategic and creative teams to develop compelling experiences that generate results for leading brands. She founded Kindred in 2009 with the goal to step out of the outdated agency model to focus on the power of creative collaboration. She is a sucker for anything creative and she embraces the fact that she comes from a long line of risk taking entrepreneurs.  During her career she has worked in partnership with LeapFrog, Design Within Reach, Fujitsu, CamelBak, The North Face, Charles Schwab, Clif Bar and Fetzer Vineyards. Monika embodies the whatever-it-takes spirit of Kindred and her dedicated personality kicks into high gear when it comes to yoga, family, art and getting on the trail.

Kerry Rose, Partner, Executive Producer

Kerry has more than 20 years of experience developing creative content, audio, and video for the media and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Kindred he has worked with Pixar, Skywalker Sound, Microsoft, National Geographic, Electronic Arts, and MTV, among others. Kerry is a connoisseur of high and low culture and is fascinated by kids, nature, crazy people, NASCAR, Duchamp, weird cocktails and BBQ chicken. As Executive Producer and Partner, Kerry focuses on delivering above and beyond what’s promised, ensuring best practices and continually driving innovation. You can often find him wrangling greasy bass lines dressed up as Halloween Santa or wrestling his 100-pound lapdog, Luna.

Marian Kwon, Partner, Chief Strategist

Marian has been building and managing brands for over 20 years with a specialty in retail and consumer brands including Gap, Disney, Smith and Hawken, BevMo! and Sur La Table. She lives by Dr. Seuss’s philosophy that “Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.” Her expertise lies in positioning brands, developing focused marketing strategies across multiple channels and consumer touch points. Marian loves hanging out with her family and hiking to new places. Plus she loves a great home cooked meal even though her specialty is hard boiled eggs.

Marybeth Moser, Product Strategist

For the past 15 years Marybeth has helped build and deliver product strategies for brands such as Athleta, Title Nine, Gap, Baby Gap and Wild Planet Toys. Merchandising is her passion. She loves the product development process – starting with high-level trends, then collaborating with creative and merchandising teams to deliver exciting, brand-right product that resonates with the consumer. Marybeth grew up in a family of 8 kids where she learned early on how to be scrappy, negotiate quickly and effectively, and be incredibly resilient while keeping a good sense of humor.  Her weekends are spent coaching her daughter’s lacrosse team, attending her son’s basketball game, and making sure to sneak in a trail run, yoga class and/or hike by the end of the day.

Lindsey Crawford, Art Director

Lindsey made the decision to pursue design 7 years ago after exhausting her passionate pursuit to travel the world. Lindsey knows life is short, and she helps everyone at Kindred to remember to be happy and not take life too seriously.  Before joining Formium, she founded a web development and design company while getting her degree at Western Washington University in graphic design. A true adventurer and creative thinker, she plans to sail to Argentina with her family. Until that that day, she’s content spending her free time cooking, gardening and hiking the hills of West Marin.

Cori Constantine, Strategy Director

Cori has 17 years of experience developing successful, targeted consumer brand strategies and campaigns in both client and agency settings. Prior to joining Kindred she spent five years at Landor as Director of Verbal Branding working with leading global brands including Chevron, Devon Energy, Dole, FedEx, Frito-Lay, H&R Block, Hilton Worldwide, Mattel, PepsiCo, Samsung, University of Colorado, Westfield and Yahoo! She has also worked for LeapFrog and The Clorox Company, among other brand leaders. Cori likes nothing more than a good book, isn’t allowed to drink coffee after 10am and would be out climbing every day if she had her way.

Melissa Gray, Social Media & Content Editor

Melissa is a writer obsessed with subcultures, stories, and how language works. She has split her career between the publishing and fashion industries for years, and written for brands such as Bust Magazine, StylelikeU, and Fantagrapahics. She attended college at The University of California Santa Cruz, and wrote an extensive thesis on internet language as poetry. Her skills lie in social media culture, discovering trends, and following the forever changing landscape of new media. Her ultimate goals are to tell you about the meaning behind rap song lyrics, travel often, and write everything down in the process. She loves practicing yoga, modern dance, and working on art projects.
